TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Hip Hip Hooray website and the services provided. By browsing the Hip Hip Hooray website or engaging Hip Hip Hooray’s services, you accept and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out herein.
The Terms and Conditions set out below form part of the agreement between the Supplier, Hip Hip Hooray / K4Games Pte. Ltd., and the Hirer/Buyer (“You”).
CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Supplier reserves the right, from time to time, with or without notice to the Hirer/Buyer, to amend, change, or update these Terms and Conditions at the sole and absolute discretion of the Supplier. The most current version of the Terms and Conditions will supersede all previous versions.
GENERAL PROVISION
The Hirer/Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold the Supplier harmless from and against any losses, damages, claims, demands, or liabilities of any kind, including legal expenses, related to or arising from the use, purchase, rental, or operation of the goods and/or services.
PRICE
Prices displayed on the website are shown in Singapore Dollars (SGD). All payments must be made in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Prices are subject to change without prior notice at any time.
ERRORS
The Supplier has the right to refuse and/or cancel orders resulting from errors appearing on the website. This also applies to orders that have been confirmed via email or verbal agreement. If payment has been approved, the Supplier will issue a refund based on the amount charged.
PURCHASE ORDERS
All merchandise is sold on a payment-first basis and is subject to product availability. Some goods may be sold on a pre-order basis. If an order is out of stock, the Supplier will advise the Buyer via email within 48 hours and offer an immediate refund if payment has been made.
RENTAL PERIOD
Unless otherwise stated, all items have a rental period of 3 hours. This rental period is for the Hirer’s exclusive use of the items and does not include setup and takedown time. Delivery and setup will be completed before the start of the rental period, and takedown will be carried out after the end of the rental period.
For self-collection, the Hirer is to return the items within the stipulated time stated on the invoice. Failure to do so may result in an additional charge of 50% on top of the item rental fee, which may be deducted from the safety deposit upon return.
DEPOSIT COLLECTION
A $200 refundable deposit must be paid before self-collection of any rental equipment. The deposit will be returned once the equipment has been checked and confirmed to be free from damage.
ORDER CANCELLATION
At least one week’s notice must be provided by the Hirer for any cancellation of orders. Otherwise, no credit note will be given. The Supplier does not provide refunds.
Please refer to the Supplier’s wet weather policy for weather-related cancellations.
DELIVERY FEE & EXTRA CHARGES
For party delivery, a flat rate delivery charge of $100 will be charged for all deliveries except to Sentosa Island, Tuas, Changi, and Town areas. For Sentosa Island, Tuas, Changi, and Town areas, the delivery charge is $130.
A standard $80 transport surcharge applies per invoice, unless otherwise stated.
An additional charge of $50 to $200, depending on the rental item, may apply for odd-hour takedown between 10:00pm and 9:30am, as well as parties held on public holidays or the eve of public holidays.
Deliveries that require stair-climbing, long-distance carrying to and from the loading area, steep slopes, or other difficult access conditions may be subject to additional fees. For items that need to be carried up or down staircases, an additional fee of $10 per flight of stairs, per item, per way will apply.
For purchase delivery, a flat rate delivery charge of $50 will be charged for all deliveries except to Sentosa Island, Tuas, Changi, and Town areas. For Sentosa Island, Tuas, Changi, and Town areas, the delivery charge is $65.
SAFETY POLICY
In the event of rain, the Hirer must ensure that children take additional care when mounting and dismounting from bouncy castles, wet inflatables, and ball pit pools. Special attention should also be given to the air blower and electrical supply to ensure that they are not in contact with water.
Children must be kept away from the bouncy castle blower, electrical supply cables, and plugs at all times.
If the bouncy castle blower must be turned off for any reason, appropriate care must be taken to ensure that nobody is in or around the bouncy castle when the bouncy castle, wet inflatable, or ball pit pool is deflating.
No smoking is allowed in or around the bouncy castles, wet inflatables, and ball pit pools.
Each bouncy castle and wet inflatable is designed for a specific maximum load. The number of children and their respective ages allowed on the inflatable should be restricted to the maximum recommended number shown in the item description.
No food or drinks are allowed in the bouncy castles, wet inflatables, and ball pit pools. Please do not feed children inside the inflatables.
Do not stick or attach any materials to the bouncy castles, wet inflatables, and ball pit pools.
No shoes, sharp objects, glasses, belt buckles, jewellery, or similar items should be worn by children inside the bouncy castles, wet inflatables, and ball pit pools.
Responsible adult supervision must be maintained at all times.
TOY CARE
Toys must be returned to the Supplier in the same condition as they were handed over to the Hirer. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that toys are kept clean and must wipe down any toys with visible debris such as dirt, water, grass, sand, or other residue before returning them to the Supplier.
A cleaning charge of 50% of the toy rental amount will be imposed if the toy is returned in a condition that requires extensive cleaning.
Special attention should be given to air-filled balls to ensure they are gathered in one place for collection. If the balls are scattered, an additional ball recovery charge of $20 will apply.
GOODS DAMAGED
If a rented item is damaged by the Hirer, including but not limited to missing parts, broken pieces, punctures, or tears, but remains in rentable condition, a penalty of twice its rental value will be charged.
If the item is damaged by the Hirer and can no longer be rented out, the full retail price of the item will be borne by the Hirer.
COLOUR ACCURACY
The Supplier aims to display the colours of the products as accurately as possible. However, due to studio lighting and screen display differences, colours shown on the Supplier’s website may appear slightly different from the actual product. Colours may also vary depending on the calibration of different computer monitors or devices.
